North London Canal Cycle Ride

This is a Pollards Hill cyclists ride that we shall be tagging on to. Orginally Melanie & myself were going to lead a ride from Hammersmith to the ride start at London Bridge but for unforeseen reasons that is not now possible. Melanie & myself will be making our own independent ways to London Bridge on the day.
HF list members wishing to go will need to make their own way to London Bridge. Meeting point is outside Evans (the cycle shop, on Tooley Street) 9:45 for a sharp 10:00 start

Ride details are below. I can assure all that this will be a cracker.

Name:
The Great North London Canal Ride
Where to:
Crossing Tower Bridge to disappear into a bygone era of cobbled streets, we pick up the Ornamental Canal and follow it to the Limehouse Cut, up past historic Three Mills and on to the Olympic Park for morning coffee. Then it's Lea Valley riverside to post-riot Tottenham's deceptively rural waterside pub and back on the quietest of roads to the Regents Canal and afternoon tea in Victoria Park.

Terrain:
Flat, mostly well made paths.

Hope to see some of you thers. Bring Lights (remember the clocks go back on Sat 29th)

Evens cycles (London Bridge) just off the south side
6 Tooley Street
London

Some photos from the 10am LCC feeder ride from Ravenscourt Park to the London Skyride 2010, and back. It was pleasing that there were so many children and people who did not normally cycle on the ride.
